Do RESON earplugs block out all sound?

No—RESON earplugs are engineered for noise filtering, not total blocking. They reduce wind and engine noise while still letting you hear traffic, comms, and your surroundings. Think of it like turning the volume down, not off.

Are they safe to use while riding?

100%. In fact, they enhance safety by cutting the high-frequency wind roar that leads to fatigue, while keeping speech and traffic noise audible. Less noise = more focus.

What size are they? Will they fit me?

Our regular model is one-size-fits-most and come with an extra set of silicone tips, designed to fit comfortably and securely for the majority of riders. The adjustable version includes 3x soft silicone tips with an internal screw for perfect fitment.

Can I wear them with a full face helmet?

Yes. RESON earplugs are helmet-compatible, with a low-profile shape that won’t dig into your ears—even on long rides.

What’s the difference between original and adjustable?

Original: fixed 28 dB noise reduction. Simple, reliable, no fiddling. Comes with 1 extra pair of silicone tips for fit.

Adjustable: tuneable 18–26 dB reduction via a notch with 1 / 2 / 3 dots. Comes with 3 extra pairs of silicone tips for fit.
 

How does the Adjustable notch work?
Turn the small dial until it clicks:

• (1 dot): ~18 dB - city speeds / group rides / max awareness

•• (2 dots): ~22 dB - everyday mixed riding

••• (3 dots): ~26 dB - highways / long stints / loud pipes

Which should I pick?

Want set-and-forget max protection? Regular (28 dB).

Ride in varied conditions or swap bikes often? Adjustable (18–26 dB).

Are they reusable? How do I clean them?

Yes, both versions are fully reusable. Rinse with warm water and mild soap after heavy use. Let them air dry before storing in the included case.

Can I use them for concerts, air travel, or work?

You absolutely can - but they’re tuned for riding. The frequency filtering is ideal for motorcycles and wind noise, but they’re still effective in loud environments like flights, commutes, or busy workspaces.
